This is a collection of unusual PDF files. Most of them (OK, I know there are only a few at the moment) do pretty daft things with PDF that have no practical use, but you never know...

Animated Logo (126K)

A souped-up animated version of our research group logo, specially designed as a splash screen for PDF documents. Includes JPEG-compressed photographs of all the group members, some a little out of date.

Radial Lines (8K)

Drawing loads of radial lines creates an interesting pattern. Keep zooming in on the centre of the circle and you realise that the pattern is infinite, even though Acrobat's ability to zoom is not.

Progress Monitor (17K)

Animating a progress bar is pretty simple - just keep extending the bar by adding lines. Putting the text on top involves some clipping. Well, you'll see what I mean when you download it.
